In October 2017, an anonymous 4chan account began making cryptic posts about earth-changing political and judicial events to come. (He’s been wrong countless times! See list of failed predictions here) However, people have speculated about who was behind the account that has come to be known as QAnon.
Some even believe that Q is President Trump (which is very doubtful) or a high-clearance member of the White House (possibly).
Much significance was given to an enigmatic remark made by Trump shortly after his inauguration where he proclaimed his presidency as the beginning of the “coming storm” – Qanon shorthand for the turmoil to come, when the evil elite would be overthrown, worldwide.
When reporters asked what he meant by the Storm, he would only say, “you’ll see”.
But Who is Q
As this vital message shows, there’s a LOT more to Q than just a random letter chosen for a name! Q refers to a body of hidden ‘wisdom’ that is supposed to overthrow the forces of evil (such as the elite, the illuminati, the deep state and so forth) and set up a millennial kingdom of love, peace, prosperity and happiness for all.

What is certain is that Trump follows QAnon and regularly retweets his material.
His current campaign slogan “Transition to Greatness” is part of the QAnon and allied teachings, as well as a core message of the Apostate Church and its “Seven Mountains Mandate” to take the kingdoms of the world BY FORCE “for Christ”. (But which christ?)
See this chilling example on Youtube “Transition to Greatness”, by a woman calling herself Red Pill The World, where after a loving portrayal of Trump as a superhero, she proudly proclaims [1.35 onwards] that “This is the great day of the Lord. This is the day of Armageddon, and this is the day we are going to go into a thousand years of peace…! We are talking about TRANSITION…”

What or Who is Q, in Truth?
Hardly anyone suspects the truth, that Q is a pseudonym for a much older, much deeper belief system that goes back in bible history to Genesis and forward in time to Revelation.
It is the age-old lie (beloved of the gnostic cults) that the biblical Father God has kept from mankind the true “wisdom” [The Tree of Life] that would liberate us, and allow us to be “as gods”, solving our own problems for our own benefit.
You can see the imagery of the [esoteric] Tree of Life in the Ariana Grande video below, where she snatches back the Tree of Life from the old man (God) and uses it as a key to propel them into a new future.
The chorus of her track is this:

According to readers and critics, Q is a thinly disguised autobiography of Luther Blissett as a subversive, identity-shifting collective phantom. The protagonist has no name (the authors later renamed themselves Wu Ming, which is Chinese for “no name”), is involved in every tumult of the age, and incites the people to rebellion.
Q in Star Trek
Q is a fictional character in Star Trek.
He is an extra-dimensional being of unknown origin who possesses immeasurable power over time, space, the laws of physics, and reality itself, being capable of altering it to his whim.
The name “Q” also applies to their race and to the “Q Continuum” itself – an alternate dimension accessible to only the Q and their “invited” guests.
The true nature of the realm is said to be beyond the comprehension of “lesser beings”.

The 17th letter
- Why, you may ask, did Bob Dylan just release a track that is exactly 17 minutes long?
- Why does Trump regularly use the number 17 in his rallies?
- Why is the Tee shirt given to Trump displaying the number 17 (not 45, as you’d expect)
Q is the 17th letter of our alphabet.
An unreliable source of information on the number 17 in scripture, amongst other things, says that it symbolizes “overcoming the enemy” and “complete victory.”
In our alphabet, the letter Q is the 17th letter, hence the amount of images around using that number.
The Greek letter Q [koppa] is a hidden one in the Greek alphabet, because it is no longer much used. Its meaning, from its Phoenician roots is the “piercing of the veil“. That is, unlocking the coded mysteries.
From its beginning as a kind of keyhole image, it gradually degraded into a lightning slash, as you see below.
Piercing the veil can be a metaphor on many levels.
It’s a symbol of passing through a door. In human terms it is the breaking of the hymen, in mystical terms it “becoming woke” to the wisdom teachings that liberate us to godhood, and in a reference to the bible, it is passing through the Temple veil that separates man from the throne of God – the veil that once covered over the Ark of the Covenant and the Presence of God, through which no ordinary person could pass for fear of death.
Of course, we as Christians know that Jesus ripped that veil from top to bottom, and provided entry to the Throne for all who believe. BUT this gospel message eludes the deceivers, so they fall back on the lie that the Father God is hiding himself from mankind.
Is this also hinted at in the movie The Wizard of Oz, when the great wizard pretends to be so almighty but turns out to be a fake behind the curtain [the veil].
He turns in surprise as the curtain over his mechanism is revealed – see image.
A Pseudo Christian Revival Movement
The Qanon messages, and much of his following, use revivalist christian terminology.
Paula White, a Word of Faith/Prosperity Gospel ‘pastor’ and Trump’s official Spiritual Counsel, said this:
“We’re ushering in a great awakening, and we’ll see the greatest harvest ever, and they’ll want to fight President Trump because of what he’s standing for… I have to say, every American should be scared, because if … you don’t wake up from the dream, it’s the end of America,”

Those words are not just idle rhetoric. The message is supposedly that the awakened ones (the ones who have taken the ‘red pill’ – of which more in a moment) are going to “take the kingdom by force” in the “Great Awakening” that will overthrow the forces of evil and bring in the promised 1000 years of peace.
But without the return of Jesus, although I am sure thousands of trustful Christians do not yet grasp that fact! (Haven’t they read the bible?)
What universal awakening and global renewal – akin to the thousand years of peace – does the bible prophesy before the Lord’s coming? Rather, universal apostasy and sin is foretold! Yet the great majority of the NEW church leadership is preaching a great revival such as has never been witnessed before.
This does not explain why so many occultists, mystics and assorted new-age believers fully support the Qanon message. Why are they also on board with the Great Awakening, if it’s so godly and biblical? What’s in it for them? We may well ask!!
The light That is Dark
Just one instance is found in this expose of a strange track by Ariana Grande in which she too declares a coming victory over Lucifer and the forces of darkness. Christian truth?? NO!
The ‘LIGHT’ proclaimed by these people is not the Light we know as Jesus Christ, nor is it the light of God’s truth, but a dark message of the teaching of the antichrist.

The Red Pill
Recently I found out what all the talk of “red pill” was about. Notice that the author of the book on taking the kingdom by force calls herself RedPillTheWorld.
On Twitter there was an enigmatic post by Elon Musk, holding out his hands, with a blue pill in one and a red pill in the other. He urged us all to “Take The Red Pill!”
Ivanka Trump immediately confirmed that she had indeed ‘TAKEN’ the red pill.
She was proclaiming herself, along with so many in the Trump administration, as being ‘woke‘ to the globalist delusion that ensnares mankind, according to them.

That delusion is about to be smashed and exposed, they say, (just like the “Wizard of Oz” behind his lying veil of greatness). It is about to be overthrown so that the TRUE message of LIGHT can be shared.
This is of course overlooking the fact that the Devil is named Lucifer because he is the “Light-bringer”, as he pretended to be in Eden, and will do worldwide in the last days.
The Last Days Deception

Lucifer’s False Light
In order for the Man of Sin to proclaim himself ‘God Above All’, he has to shake the belief in the One True GOD and the Coming Kingdom. What better than to offer an alternative.
The devil, pretending to be an angel of light [2 Corinthians 11:14], as in Eden, isn’t going to LIE about the condition of the world – the truth is all too obvious. He does not have to lie about the Masons, Bankers, Illuminati, secretive plots of the Elite, whatever, all he has to do is exaggerate the danger and then pretend to be the ANSWER.
That is, he’s going to “lay it on with a trowel” and make every truth seem a hundred times worse and far more deadly than it is, to scare everyone into thinking their way of life is about to be ripped from them by evil unseen forces. The bogeyman is about to get you!!!
Having sold the illusion, and gotten everyone to a heightened state of fear, he [preceded by his people] will pretend to be the answer, to bring back “greatness” – order, justice, peace, wealth, health and happiness such as the world has never enjoyed.
Everyone else will be the “bad guy” regardless of the truth, and he and his awakened warriors will be the only “good guys”.
Christian Persecution Ahead
In order to achieve worldwide acceptance, the Devil MUST quell any resistance. That means that all true Christians who reject his plan will have to be either overpowered by a great delusion, or removed.
This plan is now in its early stages!
Many in the Qanon fraternity believe that God has sent the current pandemic to “thin out the herd” and that it will ONLY kill the wicked and ungodly. They see it as the beginning of the transition to the New World.
Trump has stated recently that “Transition is already happening (again)” and he doesn’t mean politically.
Expect much more of this to come, as we wind down into the end stages of the Book of Revelation
At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. … For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. For me, there’s a nice side benefit to this blog post: I didn’t know there was a new Dylan record. Since seeing this post and checking out “Murder Most Foul”, I was able to hear other tracks off the new full-length release. Some of the tracks were so good, I decided to buy it—the first new music I’ve bought in quite a while. And it’s fantastic.
Readers here may be unaware: Dylan converted to Christianity in 1979, and he subsequently put out three overtly Christian-themed records. I know, I used to have two of them. Did his conversion “stick”? His subsequent records made oblique references, though nothing overt. Yet here are some interesting lyrics from his new “Crossing the Rubicon”:
I felt so strongly about the content of this post, as it relates to On Point Preparedness (OPP), that I had to write a blog post defending Bob Dylan. I found additional context to the truncated interview OPP uses to claim Dylan had “sold himself to the devil”.
I also noted how the writer conflates the Greek koppa with the English Q in his syllogistic quest to unfairly categorize all who use “Q” in some fashion:
Now, I do believe we have a duty to warn others about false teachers. And I do believe the NAR is dangerous. But let’s all be careful in our analyses. Otherwise we’re like the hyper-charismatics who ‘look for demons under every bush’.

Well, Trump was trolled by TikTok users (I’ve no idea about the platform, since I shun all the {anti}social media), as reported by numerous outlets. I don’t see any way to ‘spin’ it. Over a million reserved tickets, reportedly 6200 or so turned up. But this raises the question: Where were the NAR prophets? Didn’t they see this one coming?

I too considered writing about Q-Qanon for some time. About 2 1/2 years ago I knew someone who was prone to following conspiracies and she became quite taken by Q. At that time I believed he was a well-followed blogger who had a high-ranking military clearance and record. I believed it a strong possibility because he seemed to disappear or at least stop blogging just as Q emerged in Oct 2017. Both used some of the same phrases and wording. I liken the connection between Q and his followers with that of false prophets, or in this particular case, my friend’s daughter’s allegiance to IHOP and Mike Bickle and I told my friend that when trying to reason with her. People, including bible-believing Christians, have lost their minds over this guy, whoever he/they/it may be. This is the end result when we start to follow others. Thank you for such a great source of information.

Thank you for this post Tricia – I must confess my ignorance of QAnon , but then I haven’t tended to study this type of thing anyway. However , like any other false teachings, it’s sometimes very informative to know what influences people like Donald Trump. I was aware , and alarmed by , the input of Dominionist, Kingdom- building believers to what appeared to be his Christian viewpoint on many things, so it’s good to have this insight into what’s really going on…. I never cease to be amazed at the concoctions of false beliefs and fables designed to tickle the ears !
The paragraphs here ,under the heading Lucifer’s False Light , are a very good reminder and very relevant to the strange situation we all find ourselves currently in with the c-virus. Those of us who love the Lord and His truth have Christ as our anchor , so we take courage and focus on Him.

That was a fascinating article Tricia, that for me highlights the foolishness of professing believers putting their trust in worldly politicians and political processes. Such a trust can only lead to deeper deception and a drawing away from the gospel of the Kingdom. A Kingdom that will ONLY be established on earth when the Lord Himself returns and overthrows the false kingdom of the antichrist (the only worldwide kingdom that will be set up prior to Jesus’ return).
I was recently corresponding with a missionary working in Brazil – until he started to post articles about the “covid-19 hoax” – he said it was all a media exaggeration.
One of the last replies from him mentioned the need for “herd immunity”. Basically, sacrifice the vulnerable and retain the “fittest”.
He also labelled the expectation that things would get worse prior to Jesus’ return was “fatalism”. He dismissed Biblical prophecy of tribulation as being already fulfilled.

Let me state right up front that I’ve not delved much into any of the information surrounding QAnon. And, I’m wary of relying on Wikipedia for any information of a political nature, for I’ve found it to be quite biased, generally.
My intention is not to make this post sound either (a) hypercritical, or (b) as any sort of attack on you. I hope it doesn’t come off that way.
With that necessary preface, I must make a comment regarding this:

While the English letter Q is sequentially the 17th, the Greek koppa is sequentially the 18th, in its alpha-numeric system, in distinction from the Greek 24-letter alphabet. Though the koppa had been discontinued as a letter, it (in its various iterations) was retained as the number it represented in the ancient alpha-numeric system. Its corresponding numerical value is 90—not 17 (or even 18). Just like digamma (the 6th letter—replaced later with stigma) and sampi (the 27th), these were retained(/added in) solely for alpha-numeric use. That said, I find the assertion regarding koppa in the book by Proppe titled Greek Alphabet: Unlock the Secrets to be questionable. Yes, the Greek koppa came from the Phoenician alphabet originally, but this in no way means it is somehow related to some dubious folklore about “piercing the veil”. Moreover, I’d like to see the source she uses to assert her claim about this historic application in Phoenician lore. And even if this were to be found true, this in no way means that the Greek adoption of this letter is in any way connected to any sort of Phoenician lore. To me, all this seems syllogistic, with resulting non sequiturs.
The previous paragraph is not meant to imply that the quote above is what you, Tricia, believe about all this, for I think you are merely reporting what you found, as opposed to saying something to the effect, “This is what that literally means.” Let me know if I’m correct or incorrect in this regard.
That said, this doesn’t mean some aren’t using this supposed connection toward their own ends.
I also find it a stretch to implicitly connect the claims by Proppe as regards koppa to QAnon as On Point Preparedness seems to do. Has QAnon quoted from this book? Have prominent NAR members? Now, that’s also not to say that some NAR adherents haven’t made this syllogistic connection and that others aren’t following along with it. Maybe some are.
I also note that Dylan’s official YouTube version of “Murder Most Foul” clocks in at 16:56, not 17:00. But, even if it is intended as some sort of nod to ‘Q’, then it seems to me only so because of the subject matter: JFK’s murder. There’s a theory that he was assassinated by the US government—the “shadow” government. If so, any sort of connection with ‘QAnon’ would seem to be political, not religious. (I confess I’ve not listened to the song or viewed its lyrics in full, though.)
There is no doubt the NAR wants to influence the US presidency. The question is to what extent, if any, is President Trump influenced. My inclination is that he goes along with it for the sake of political expediency. Paula White is, arguably, easy on the eyes—a potential reason for choosing her as spiritual advisor. But maybe I’m wrong. Yet, I think any answer to this question of influence requires looking more closely at Melania Trump’s religious views and affiliations and her influence on The Donald.

Hi Craig thanks for your thoughts. To make clear, it was not the Greek alphabet that I said contained Q as the 17th letter, as I know it is not. It was our own alphabet.
The symbolic meaning of letters is widely practised in the occult, and I believe the video was referring to that belief about the letter Q. I should have worded my statement to say “it is said that…” but I was hoping people would pick that up from the video itself. Even so, the pagan use of the letter seems to jive with the current use of Q and to reinforce that Qanon isn’t a purely Christian opposition to evil.
As for Dylan’s song, there may be some small discrepancy with the length on videos, but a few seconds doesn’t detract from the intention – to refer to the number 17, and imply that dark forces killed the President. The connections that QAnon refer to are both political, religious and social, as they see it as all the same problem.
Personally, I think Trump goes along with whatever praises and exalts him, without grasping the intentions, and some within the cults see him as a kind of saviour. It’s undeniable that he reads and quotes QAnon as well as many similar conspiracy outlets, but to what extent he understand them is debatable. I think whatever supports and promotes him will get his approval, regardless.

A lover of self and a man who is a law unto himself. I suspect those who can see him as offering hope for the church and the faith in general will have no trouble welcoming THE man of lawlessness when he shows up.

Perhaps I should be a bit more specific—though, again, not trying to be hypercritical. The point I’m trying to make is that when critiquing conspiracy theories, we must be careful to not fall into the same trap of connecting unrelated things together in our critiques of these conspiracy theories. I’m reminded of something Jewish Rabbi Samuel Sandmel cautioned about:
The English letter Q comes to the English language via the Latin, which in turn is derived from the Greek koppa, which in turn comes from the Phoenician qoph. On Point Preparedness shows material from a book that makes a questionable claim about the origins of the GREEK koppa, not the English letter Q, then draws the conclusion that the English letter Q means what the author of this book says the Greek koppa means, further implying that this is the origin of the “Q” in QAnon. After all, the title of his vlog is “Q” Is More than just “QAnon”. While “piercing the veil” has an occult meaning and is used in occult literature, it is just not proper to make such leaps in argumentation as regards QAnon. That’s not to say some in the NAR haven’t used “piercing the veil” with this occult meaning attached, as they definitely have.
As for Dylan’s song, the songwriter even states it is “an unreleased song we recorded a while back” in a comment on his YouTube channel. When? We don’t know. His last record, Tempest, was released in 2012. Though I suppose it is possible the piece was recorded within the past 3 years (has he been in the recording studio recently?), the probability seems higher that “Murder Most Foul” could be from those 2012 sessions or even earlier. Moreover, now having listened to it, the song is packed full of lyrics, with no instrumental breaks, meaning that even if it were a cappella it would be nearly 17 minutes long. Yes, I see that some QAnon fans have attempted to connect the timing of the song with ‘Q = 17 = QAnon’, but that surely doesn’t mean Dylan intended to make a ~17 minute song in reference to QAnon.
Since this post may indeed seem overly critical—though again not my intent—let me close with something tangential that is more uplifting. In some Jewish circles the number 18 is a lucky number. In Jewish gematria—which must not necessarily be considered occult, or from the Kabbalah, etc., for this is the corresponding alphanumeric system to the Greek one—the Hebrew word chai (transliterated to English), which means “life”, adds up to 18, thus accounting for this number’s significance. Now for the uplifting connection: Since the first century AD, the Greek word for Jesus, IHΣΟΥϹ, was sometimes shortened to just the first two letters, and in the Greek alphanumeric system these two letters equal 18. Unconverted Jews looking for life can find it in JESUS!
