We have come to a parting of the ways, a dividing in the pathway of life. This is true as much for Christians as anyone else. As always, what it boils down to is the needs of the flesh, as opposed to the voice of God.
This is a division created by the Devil and fuelled by his lies, in preparation for his grand endtimes rescue plan.
Two Apparent Truths in Conflict
The division seems to be apparent in the Church most of all (perhaps because it is Christians who represent the greatest threat to the devil’s plans.) But it’s so obvious that even the world and the cults perceive it, too – and participate in it.
Something profound and very dangerous is happening, and I don’t believe we can go back to “normal”.
I don’t see any relief from this mental instability, in fact the devil intends for it to infect the entire world’s population, and there is only ONE safeguard from it – the TRUTH, the truth of God, and his word.

Chaos and disruption are likely to continue and even to increase, in every area of life. The response by many has been to look for answers in the strangest places.

The reaction to the Covid pandemic has been the strangest in history, with half the population denying it even exists and the other half claiming the vaccine is all kinds of evil, that will even “stop you feeling God”. For instance the recent video by Rodney Howard-Browne:
And of course birds are CIA surveillance devices, the moon isn’t real, the earth is hollow, or flat, children are being killed for their adrenochrome, almost every celebrity and politician is a lizard, or dead, or a clone… the list goes on.
Tinfoil hats are the new baseball cap! Universal and acceptable, even being advertised for ridiculous amounts of money – despite the fact they are completely useless. A fool and his money are soon parted.
Undeniable Urges
What few of us realise is that it’s the desires of the flesh – emotions, feelings and needs – that empower these divisive new ideas.
As well as a desire for assurance in a shaking world, there’s a profound and seemingly undeniable need in many to appear clever, superior, knowing, and bonded in secret ties to a fervent family of fellow-believers.
The companionship of the like-minded, with the cult-like adoption of shared beliefs, is very compelling. Few see the dangers ahead. They run towards the fire without perceiving it!
Shared beliefs that “explain everything” compensate for the uncertainty of this present world, soothing the pain of not knowing what is to come. All evil can be neatly explained away, and not only that – overcome. How comforting.
All goodness and relief from danger is waiting round the corner, on a vague promise that evil is about to be overthrown. How? By whom? When? And without the Coming of the Lord?? Those are the questions we are not supposed to ask.
Only ONE Place of Safety
We are urged to stand on the ROCK of our salvation. Psalm 62:1-2
Truly my soul silently waits for God;
From Him comes my salvation.
He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be greatly moved.
The Devil is a Liar
But all of this current silliness is just scratching the surface. The devil is not really interested in opposing 5G or vaccines. His deeper and much more sinister plan is to prepare mankind to accept his wonderful new “kingdom of light and love”, as an antidote to fear and distress.
In ever-greater confusion, fear and uncertainty, the devil exaggerates the problems and then offers his own solutions – none of which of course entail believing God and the bible!
Your heart and mind are the target.
If you can come down off the Rock of your salvation, and start to doubt everyday facts, science, evidence, even reality itself, start to question everything, lose trust in Government and leaders, see secret evil in almost everything and everyone around you, and become persuaded that there’s a New Order to come in a Great Reset that will solve all the problems – you are ready for the LIE of the devil’s kingdom.
The only Reset is the one you can read about in Revelation.
Don’t underestimate the compelling power of the devil’s lies, when he ultimately arrives in radiant glory and power to explain that he can solve the world’s problems, arrest the evil world rulers, redistribute wealth, provide freedom and happiness for all – and most importantly, he wants to teach mankind how to rise up and govern the earth as gods – with powers never-before experienced that the oppressive “Jehovah” has been keeping from us.
Indeed, we don’t need this overbearing God to tell us what to do. That is what he will teach. We are our own masters!
Ultimately, as we know from Revelation, the devil will want to persuade mankind to help him dethrone God and install himself and his fallen angels as the new world order.
The Ultimate Masterplan
THIS is his answer. And THIS is why he’s massaging the minds and hearts of people today. Today’s conspiracies are fodder for the deceived masses who will be eager to accept the Kingdom of the Beast.
(Satan is laughing at all the many scare stories about the “mark of the beast” right now, because he knows when the genuine mark comes, people won’t recognise it, nor denounce it; on the other hand they will gladly line up to receive it.)
The devil is busy providing a comfortable foothold for every piece of shaky ground that he’s creating, underneath which he knows there is no rock of absolute evidence, but only rumours and hearsay.
There IS no safety, but an illusion; there IS no remedy, but false promises.
However, false promises are sweet as honey to the ears of those who need them. In a world of chaos, people crave an all-encompassing answer. They run to anyone who promises relief.
But the relief, comfort and truth of the bible – with the promise of the coming Kingdom of God – now seems too far away and too insubstantial, so other more powerful beliefs must take their place.
Were we not warned, that some will get tired of waiting for the Lord to return:
In the last days scoffers will come, mocking and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” [2 Peter 3-4]
What is the Antidote?
There’s only been one antidote to sin, evil deception, and the works of the devil – God’s truth as represented in Jesus Christ and his word. Those who forsake the bible in favour of Youtube and questionable teachers (many of whom are frauds, blasphemers and followers of new-age spirituality) will end up trusting in the lie.
The only education going on today is NOT a benign opening up of fascinating and compelling hidden truths for the liberation of mankind, but an education in how to receive the false “gospel” of the other-christ when he appears. And that appearance may not be far away.
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers… [Psalm 1:1-3].

Thanks Tricia. It can be disheartening to see the extent to which professing Christians are swallowing blatant lies and regurgitating them. It was encouraging to read this insightful article – despite the unfortunate reality it is observing.
In recetn weeks I haven’t been able to avoid seeing the blind devotion to the lies of a particular president after losing the recent election – aided and abetted by a cadre of false prophets and their devoted followers.
My YouTube page has been flooded with videos put out by these ‘prophets’ – calling for prayer, fasting, declarations of victory; all intended to expose the ‘fraud’ committed during the election.
The same people caught up in this are also committed to the conspiracy lies about covid, masks, vaccines etc.
I suspect that the current US political situation is a kind of foreshadowing of what Paul writes in 2 Thess 2.
In the present time there is A man of lawlessness to whom professing believers have devoted themselves. He is a man with no regard for truth, and those ‘believers’ disregard clear reality (truth) to accept his every word.
Now look to a similar man in the (possibly near) future – but add signs and wonders – and is it so hard to understand there will be many professing believers willingly falling for him and his lies?
The ease with which so many have devoted themselves to A man of lawlessness makes me realise how easy it would be for THE man of lawlessness (antichrist) to draw people, even ‘Christians’ to follow him.
All of that is made possible by the increasing disregard for truth even within ‘the church’.
