“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world — the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life — is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever“. (1 John 2:15-17 ESV)
These are the words of Jesus, who could have come to this world powerfully and with the armies of Heaven to force obedience to God, and to overturn all that is contrary to him. Yet he did not.
Even offered the nations of the world on a silver platter by the devil, Jesus did not hesitate to commit to God’s plan, because ruling the world at the price of bowing to satan’s kingship was not on his agenda, despite the cost he would have to pay in terms of human suffering.
We have always known that persecution would arise before the return of our Lord, but now it seems closer than ever. And the greatest threat appears to be coming (as Jesus warned, and as the book of Revelation does seem to indicate) from other Christians.
Matthew 10: 21-25 “Brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. …
“A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household!”.
I felt there was a need to offer a meeting place for Christians who are feeling isolated in this day and age of deception and rampant conspiracies. I’ve set up a Facebook Group called “God’s Remnant Gathered” in the hope that it can offer a little bit of fellowship and information. If you feel this could be for you, the link is here:
Over the years I have struggled to find an exact definition of what “Man of Sin” (or, Lawlessness) actually means. [2 Thess 2:3] I know who he will be, but the term used to describe him in Thessalonians seemed vague. Also, what exactly does it describe about his actions?
We understand what a “Man of God” is, or for example, a “Man of Many Talents”. Therefore I feel what is lacking is a more precise definition of SIN itself. What does this man epitomize, and what is sin?
Nothing is quite as powerful or resistant to change as belief. That is a good thing when the belief is founded on truth and God-given fact, such as the scriptures.
Although the devil comes up with seemingly irrefutable evidence to contradict God and his word – as he did when he tested the Lord Jesus in the desert – just like Jesus we can answer him with the bible truths that are everlasting and not susceptible to change or alteration.
On the other hand, when a firmly held belief is contrary to the facts, it becomes a snare from which it is difficult to escape.
Many of you will have read the title and thought, well obviously. However, these days it’s unfortunately not obvious, even for bible-literate Christians, that doing the right thing, and acting truthfully and honourably, is part and parcel of being a Christian.
I dealt with this upcoming event, The Return 2020, in an earlier post, but the time is nearly upon us. There is now more information and more reason to be concerned, as you can see in the video on this page.
The event is turning out to be an ecumenical, nationalist and libertarian agenda to “take back your country” and ultimately the world – as the website for leader Dr. Chaps states. [See the video below for more information].
More worryingly, it is one more step in the New Age agenda to “return to the light” and prepare the way for a saviour figure to come and solve the world’s problems. Below is just one comment on a site that uses Christian terminology but has New Age roots. Continue reading →
Because the coming other-christ is called the Man of Lawlessness by Paul in Thessalonians, we tend to think of sins as being the hallmark of his followers and his work. It may shock you to find out what that sin consists of.
When the revivalist miracle-workers of the last days cite their works as a qualification of entrance into heaven, the Lord rejects them with these words:
Matt 7: 21-24 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
The title of the E5-ll video that I included was called “The Return 2020: A Great Revival? Or A Great Deception?” and the only part at that time that struck me was the similarity to what the Lord had been showing me about a false revival in the pipeline.
I did not know (because I didn’t connect the title with anything more than revival) was that The Return 2020 is actually a planned revival event that is to take place nationwide and worldwide according to its website.
Had I known that I would have included it in my first article, but I’m adding it here because it ties right in with what I had said. I am now even more disturbed about coming events this Autumn.Continue reading →
For a few days I have had a message burning in my heart, and today I was about to make a start on sharing that. That is when (coincidentally, if you believe in coincidences) I saw today’s video posted by the E5-11 ministry.
I had no intention of posting another video from the E5-11 ministry, but this one is a direct confirmation to me of the subject I was also covering. Its title is “Great Revival or Great Deception?”
I have posted that video below to share it with you, but what I have to say is perhaps even more urgent and important because it relates to a great evil that is about to be unleashed.Continue reading →
In October 2017, an anonymous 4chan account began making cryptic posts about earth-changing political and judicial events to come. (He’s been wrong countless times! See list of failed predictions here) However, people have speculated about who was behind the account that has come to be known as QAnon.
Some even believe that Q is President Trump (which is very doubtful) or a high-clearance member of the White House (possibly). Continue reading →
I have been praying much about what to say in my blog during this pandemic. I wanted to offer some hope, some true word of God, some comfort, some direction – but I have been drawing a blank each time.
It’s not that there isn’t hope, faith and comfort aplenty in the bible, but I wanted to share something relevant and specific, and not just general platitudes.
I’d like to tell you that, as Christians, we will be protected and spared from all suffering but (unlike some false teachers in the churches) I’m not going to lie to you and tell you you’re immune. Continue reading →
I once attended a seemingly good evangelical church in the 80’s. However, I had cause to sit down and go silent when they began introducing songs about the Church’s victory over the world and specifically the rise of “Joel’s Army“.
They rush on the city, they run on the wall Great is the army that carries out His word Blow the trumpet in Zion, Zion Sound the alarm in My Holy mountain!Continue reading →
When Donald Trump was elected President of the United States, Church Watch Central predicted that the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) Apostles and Prophets would try to gain access to this ‘Christian’ President. Lance Wallnau and other ‘prophets and apostles’ have since labelled Trump as ‘Gods Chaos candidate’, proving the obvious nature and motivation of the NAR.What no one could have predicted was President Trump’s recent appointment of the self-proclaimed NAR apostle (and notorious scam artist) Paula White to be his aide and ‘spiritual advisor’!
The outcome of this now sees the New Apostolic Reformation apparently fulfilling one of its ‘Seven Mountain’ mandates, having ‘dominion’ over the United States, primarily through the White House and the Oval Office (called ‘The Government/Law Mountain’). Continue reading →
I thought it would be good to remind ourselves of the rise and impact of the false revival, from its beginning in Toronto in 1993/4. Here I present a video from a man who was personally involved right from the start, Andrew Strom.
He describes how he, as a ‘Charismatic’, came under intense pressure to conform, when in his heart he knew this was, as he says “an alien spirit” taking hold of Christians.
The footage here from the early days reminds me of what I saw at that time. Indeed, in the 1990’s I was given a video of Rodney Howard Browne and his “gift of laughter” BEFORE he became famous for the Laughter Revival at the Toronto Airport Church, and was appalled even then at what I saw.
Todd Bentley Kicks and Punches the Sick at God’s Command, British MP Seeks to Ban Him
If a little voice in the back of your head told you to kick a woman in the face, most of us would quickly suppress the idea. But for Todd Bentley of Fresh Fire Ministries, who is also a televangelist covered with body tattoos and facial piercings, that voice is none other than the voice of God.
He has used these shock-cure methods under what he calls holy inspiration, in a manner that is more evocative of ancient Zen Buddhism, in which teachers would slap, punch, or slice a student into enlightenment, than anything found in traditional Christianity. For this reason many UK citizens are pressuring leaders to ban his intended visit to their country this month. Continue reading →
C. Peter Wagner, founder of the New Apostolic Reformation, sent out an email yesterday announcing that he had recently been in Delaware for the commissioning of several new apostles. Wagner wrote that, when he arrived, he was surprised to learn that “a good bit of field work had been done to assure the approval of the State of Delaware.” Continue reading →
