I believe we are coming up to the end of society and the world as we have known it. There is an anticipation, as well as disquiet, that most of us feel.
This seems like a replay of the last days of Jesus, as the BODY of Christ now walks the same path and faces the same challenges and choices. But also the same deep division of opinion has emerged as to how to handle those challenges.
The people of God have walked this path before, and we can learn much from their story, their responses, and their solution. That is why I titled this “Jesus or Barabbas”.
In my current re-reading of the Book of Revelation I developed a curiosity about how much overlap there was with the events of AD70 when Jerusalem was destroyed. I also considered Daniel’s statue alongside the similar Beast of Revelation and therefore thought about the continuation of Rome into our own time (in thought and deed, if not in fact.)
I am not a Historicist, much less a Preterist, but at the same time I am not close-minded about the types and shadows that occur many times in the bible prophecies.
“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world — the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life — is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever“. (1 John 2:15-17 ESV)
These are the words of Jesus, who could have come to this world powerfully and with the armies of Heaven to force obedience to God, and to overturn all that is contrary to him. Yet he did not.
Even offered the nations of the world on a silver platter by the devil, Jesus did not hesitate to commit to God’s plan, because ruling the world at the price of bowing to satan’s kingship was not on his agenda, despite the cost he would have to pay in terms of human suffering.
I felt there was a need to offer a meeting place for Christians who are feeling isolated in this day and age of deception and rampant conspiracies. I’ve set up a Facebook Group called “God’s Remnant Gathered” in the hope that it can offer a little bit of fellowship and information. If you feel this could be for you, the link is here:
Donald Trump’s most fervent supporters are ready for him to become the 19th president [not the 45th or 46th] on March 4th. Why is that, and is there any validity in the belief? This article, reprinted from the link below, examines all the claims, where they come from, and much more.
When I stumbled over the video shown below, I watched it with confusion. I knew it couldn’t be Donald Trump, but at the same time, it WAS! I watched it, then shared it with someone else, asking “what do you see? Is this Trump? If it’s an actor, he’s identical to the President.”
When Jesus spoke of signs in the sun moon and stars in the last days, [Luke 21:25] he wasn’t talking about astrology. But the heavens that he created do sometimes provide a herald of things to come, as in the star that the Magi followed to reach Bethlehem shortly after his birth.
There are at least three major astronomy events in December 2020 and they are causing a stir amongst believers and unbelievers alike.
Mental impulses can be more persuasive than rational strategy because of their emotional drive. They can recruit you into an alternative system of thinking that defies rationality. [Source]
We have come to a parting of the ways, a dividing in the pathway of life. This is true as much for Christians as anyone else. As always, what it boils down to is the needs of the flesh, as opposed to the voice of God.
This is a division created by the Devil and fuelled by his lies, in preparation for his grand endtimes rescue plan.
This post contains an audio of an interview with guest speaker Constance Cumbey, noted researcher into the New Age and heresies in the Church. Here she updates her former research by telling us that she sees the same teachings in the QAnon and related movements today.
This is no surprise to bible students, since the age-old plan to trick humanity into handing over the government of the planet to a wise and powerful messiah-figure never really varies. Only the terminology changes. Continue reading →
This post is something perhaps many of you will not want to read, and will be inclined to dismiss it as a lie. However, I believe it is authentic, and what it reveals is that the much-lauded Q ‘drops’ started out as a hoax, but became so popular that the people who posted them could not and would not give up.
The text below was posted to Pastebin by a user named Qwho, and by now it will probably have expired because it was posted for a limited number of days. I do have copies of the text, however, and at todays’ date it has been read by nearly 104 thousand people. Continue reading →
Because the coming other-christ is called the Man of Lawlessness by Paul in Thessalonians, we tend to think of sins as being the hallmark of his followers and his work. It may shock you to find out what that sin consists of.
When the revivalist miracle-workers of the last days cite their works as a qualification of entrance into heaven, the Lord rejects them with these words:
Matt 7: 21-24 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
For a few days I have had a message burning in my heart, and today I was about to make a start on sharing that. That is when (coincidentally, if you believe in coincidences) I saw today’s video posted by the E5-11 ministry.
I had no intention of posting another video from the E5-11 ministry, but this one is a direct confirmation to me of the subject I was also covering. Its title is “Great Revival or Great Deception?”
I have posted that video below to share it with you, but what I have to say is perhaps even more urgent and important because it relates to a great evil that is about to be unleashed.Continue reading →
Commentary from E5-11 Ministry: One of the main points I was making in my “What’s Really Coming” series was that the New World Order is NOT the Beast of Revelation 13, and that what the conspiracy community had been talking about and exposing for decades was not the beast kingdom but rather a counterfeit.
The destruction of this counterfeit NWO (if that were possible) would lead to a FALSE peace, a faked renaissance; in actual fact it would be the time of “peace and security” that the apostle Paul said would come just before the “sudden destruction” – falling upon a unsuspecting world that had unwittingly embraced and worshiped the beast (1 Thess. 5:3). No, this is not going to be a post about who, at this stage of history, is the coming false messiah. I’ve seen enough guessing games to last me a lifetime!
In fact, it’s the opposite.
I have witnessed a growing trend on social media, where people – even non christians and agnostics – tend to label every sinister or evil person as the “antichrist”. These people have little to no biblical understanding of who he will be, in reality. Continue reading →
In October 2017, an anonymous 4chan account began making cryptic posts about earth-changing political and judicial events to come. (He’s been wrong countless times! See list of failed predictions here) However, people have speculated about who was behind the account that has come to be known as QAnon.
Some even believe that Q is President Trump (which is very doubtful) or a high-clearance member of the White House (possibly). Continue reading →
People Are Burning 5G Masts because of Virus Fears
Answering a Question about 5G and COVID-19
This helpful post from Creation.com seeks to bring some clarity and scientific background to the current idea that 5G wireless technology is causing or exacerbating the novel coronavirus. See original here: https://creation.com/5g-covid
G. W. from Australia wrote in with a question about coronaviruses and 5G wireless technology. “I would like Robert Carter’s biological view on these two assertions”:
that Coronavirus looks like a viral response to respiratory difficulty, and
that 60 GHz radio frequencies can reduce oxygen uptake thus causing that response in the lungs.
I have a congregant who is alarmed. Snopes is quiet and I’m unsure where to look for credibility. (My Note: At this present date, Snopes is no longer silent on the topic, as there is a very helpful article found HERE – worth reading!)
