Answering a Question about 5G and COVID-19

G. W. from Australia wrote in with a question about coronaviruses and 5G wireless technology. “I would like Robert Carter’s biological view on these two assertions”:

1. that Coronavirus looks like a viral response to respiratory difficulty, and
2. that 60 GHz radio frequencies can reduce oxygen uptake thus causing that response in the lungs.

I have a congregant who is alarmed. Snopes is quiet and I’m unsure where to look for credibility. (My Note: At this present date, Snopes is no longer silent on the topic, as there is a very helpful article found HERE – worth reading!)

RFID and the Mark of the Beast

In the early 80’s I bought two books by Mary Stewart Relfe that dealt with the coming 666 “mark of the beast” endtime money system and allied technologies, such as bar codes.

Bar codes, you see, had a start/middle/stop signal for the reader that was also, coincidentally, the signal for the number 6. So, three sixes.

That has never stopped me using products with a barcode. Now, if you ask me do I think barcodes will eventually be part of the antichrist deception of the endtimes, my answer would problably be yes. But still today I have no worries about the barcodes on everything in my fridge; I think nothing of it.

COVID-19: A Lamb For A Household

You might be wondering about the title of this post. I have linked together this present crisis with the time of Passover, which this year begins at sundown on Wednesday, April 8th and ends at sundown on Thursday, April 16th. Thus this year it encompasses the festival we know as Easter.

While those who celebrate Passover recall the blood of the lambs that saved the people of God from death, those who celebrate Easter remember the Lamb of God whose blood offers salvation to any who willingly accept its redemptive power.

In the one case it was the blood of a lamb dashed onto the lintels that caused the Lord to “pass over” the lives inside, averting death. In the other case, it was the shed blood of the sacrifice of Jesus, the Lamb of God, that provided a covering from eternal death.

Passover and Easter are therefore twin festivals, and have a common theme, but what about my mention of the present pandemic?

God’s Direction During Times of Crisis

I have been praying much about what to say in my blog during this pandemic. I wanted to offer some hope, some true word of God, some comfort, some direction – but I have been drawing a blank each time.

It’s not that there isn’t hope, faith and comfort aplenty in the bible, but I wanted to share something relevant and specific, and not just general platitudes.

I’d like to tell you that, as Christians, we will be protected and spared from all suffering but (unlike some false teachers in the churches) I’m not going to lie to you and tell you you’re immune.

The Prospect of a Pandemic

Sometime around the tragedy that was 9/11, I started work on a series about the Four Seals of Revelation Chapter Six. Little did I know that events would subsequently occur that seemed to add confirmation upon confirmation that the four seals were actually being loosed in our day.
