God doesn’t just love as an attribute or a choice (as if his love might be fickle and some days he is judgmental or angry instead) but God IS love. Love is God’s nature. Knowing that, everything makes sense – creation, heaven and hell, salvation, and day-to-day life too.
There are some things the bible describes as essential aspects of God’s nature, and they are the exact opposite of Lucifer’s nature.
Jesus laid down his life for us. We nod our heads and go uh-huh. But wait a moment; Jesus didn’t just give his life in DYING but in LIVING. What do I mean by that?
Have we become so familiar with the concept of the sacrificial DEATH of Jesus on the cross that we haven’t considered what his obedience cost him during the 30 years (or thereabouts) beforehand, during all those years of his LIFE? The Ayes have it! 400 of them.
And by a process we call Democracy, the Vox Populi ruled on Tuesday that marriage is no longer between a man and a woman, but between anyone, of any gender or persuasion.
From a Christian standpoint, I’d say that democracy is a flawed system.
If the principle is that the minority are always overruled by the majority, then all kinds of popular evils could be made legal. Why is there little to no media censorship, no regulation of internet porn, no clamp down on excessive drinking? The majority approve of it, so they carry the day.

Speaking about the last days of mankind, the bible says there will be at least two major signs – keeping people from marrying, and commanding people to abstain from certain types of food.
1 Tim 4:1-5 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
As to hindering marriage, it’s a fact that in America marriage has sharply declined over the past 50 years, from 68% of 20+ being wed in 1960 versus only 26% of the same age group in 2008, according to a 2010 study from the Pew Research Center.
