In my current re-reading of the Book of Revelation I developed a curiosity about how much overlap there was with the events of AD70 when Jerusalem was destroyed. I also considered Daniel’s statue alongside the similar Beast of Revelation and therefore thought about the continuation of Rome into our own time (in thought and deed, if not in fact.)

I am not a Historicist, much less a Preterist, but at the same time I am not close-minded about the types and shadows that occur many times in the bible prophecies.

False Prophets & False Christs Are HERE

 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand. “(Matthew 24:23-27)

Jesus warned us in advance. How many of us have wondered over the years exactly what the “false christs” would be, because we have seen many false prophets, but until recently we had not seen believable false christs. However, now we are seeing more and more appearances – supposedly – of Jesus, in ways that are attracting believers by the thousands.

Christmas Star or Evil Omen?

When Jesus spoke of signs in the sun moon and stars in the last days, [Luke 21:25] he wasn’t talking about astrology. But the heavens that he created do sometimes provide a herald of things to come, as in the star that the Magi followed to reach Bethlehem shortly after his birth.

No, the Beast is NOT Here: A Response to Celeste Solum

Commentary from E5-11 Ministry: One of the main points I was making in my “What’s Really Coming” series was that the New World Order is NOT the Beast of Revelation 13, and that what the conspiracy community had been talking about and exposing for decades was not the beast kingdom but rather a counterfeit.

The destruction of this counterfeit NWO (if that were possible) would lead to a FALSE peace, a faked renaissance; in actual fact it would be the time of “peace and security” that the apostle Paul said would come just before the “sudden destruction” – falling upon a unsuspecting world that had unwittingly embraced and worshiped the beast (1 Thess. 5:3).

The Third Temple Could Be Built Immediately

I recently watched the video below, with some hesitation and skepticism. However, having seen it – and then researched the subject and read portions of Ernest Martin’s book (link below) I am convinced.

The original, biblical Temple was NOT situated on the Temple Mount but in the City of David alongside, by the spring Gihon.

The video – and even more so the articles and books – give verse after verse in the bible, as well as quotes from historians such as Josephus who knew the location of Herod’s Temple, to confirm the facts in the video.

The Subtle Deception

As we all know, there’s been a build-up to September’s supposed apocalyptic events including exercises like Jade Helm, which ended on the 15th with no discernible damage to the population. What’s going on?

Why has the expectation of Americans (in particular) been stirred up with talk of secret tunnels, Government stockpiling of equipment and food, martial law, internment camps, gun control, the need to flee from disaster, and much more? This goes along with the fear of a vicious campaign to eradicate Christianity.

The Fourth Seal (2015)

I have decided to continue my series on the Four Seals of Revelation Chapter 6 by updating the information to include the fourth seal.

We have no real proof of what that seal may be, as the bible does not (contrary to popular belief) say that the pale horse with Death and Hades is “plague”. It only speaks of “death” in various forms. Nonetheless, I thought it would be a good idea to look into current events to see how they might fit in to the sequence that has been unfolding since 1994.

As some of you will know, I differ from the traditional opinion, in believing we are already in the time of the opening of the seals of Revelation. Anyone curious about my viewpoint of the endtimes should have a good look around my Birthpangs website, and perhaps it would be useful to glance at this chart which accompanies my lengthy article on Revelation and Yom Kippur in the Temple.

In short, I do not hold to the conventional pre-seven-year rapture position. I am what you might call a “mid-seal rapturist”. Nonetheless I DO believe in the rapture of the Church! But in that context, I will dive straight into the subject at hand, the fourth seal.

This past year of 2012 has been a strange and troublesome one for many.

Even the usual merriment scheduled for the Christmas season was blighted by grief (Sandy Hook) and disaster (repeated flooding and gales in Europe and tornadoes and snow in the States ).

Not many months before, there was another “sandy” tragedy when that Hurricane devastated portions of the Caribbean and the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern United States during late October 2012.

Add to that the unusual weather all year – droughts, then floods – plus failing crops, continuing violence in the Middle East including the death of four Americans in Benghazi, and this year’s spike in annual epidemics…

The Silence from Heaven…

I am posting the above poem from my fellow-worker at Living Journey because it moved me deeply and I believe it is a word from God. She comments, “I had these words last night. It was a restless night… little sleep. A warning, I fear”.

I also had a restless night with troubling dreams, and was even crying in my sleep; I said to my husband when I woke up, I have this troubling sense that something is coming, like we are waiting for something to happen. There’s a kind a sadness that I cannot account for.

Crossing a Red Line

Later he said, I’ve heard the phrase “red line” three times now.

Once was with regard to the Israel-Iran situation (Source)  where Netanyahu said that a red line had to be drawn:

“A dangerous game of high-flying messages has been taking place between Washington and Jerusalem. Netanyahu made demands for a “red line” for Iran, beyond which action will be taken. “Iran will not stop unless it sees clear determination by the democratic countries of the world and a clear red line,” Netanyahu said in an interview with the Canadian Broadcasting Co. Namely, he doesn’t see the necessary determination from countries such as the United States.”

Secondly, the term “red line” was today applied to the media who just don’t know where to stop. This was about the repellent publication, in a French gossip column, of topless photos of the wife of Prince William during their visit to a private holiday resort. (Source).

Thirdly, the Youtube film trailer about Islam, that has sparked this present unrest across the Middle East, was said by some to have “crossed a red line” of public opinion and commentary. In speaking of these three mentions, I’m not taking sides one way or the other, but saying the term “drawing a red line” has been in the news, and the concept of crossing a red line has entered public consciousness.

But earlier this year I found myself saying something similar: we have passed the point of no return, we have turned a corner. Humanity has crossed the line.

As we approach Rosh Hashannah on 17th September, followed by Yom Kippur on 26th September we are entering another year – one that threatens to escalate all the troubles engulfing humanity up to now. Truly, the birthpangs that Jesus spoke of, leading to his return, are happening right now and we would do well to take heed!

Wake Up People!!

As you read this, the United States is experiencing the worst drought it has seen since the Dust Bowl days of the 1930s.  As you read this, nearly half of all corn crops in the United States are in “poor” or “very poor” condition.  As you read this, 38 major wildfires are ripping across the central and western United States.

The brutal wildfires in Oklahoma have been so bad that they have made national headlines.  The price of corn has hit a brand new record high this summer and so has the price of soybeans.  More than half of all the counties in this country have been declared to be “natural disaster areas” by the U.S. Department of Agriculture at this point.  Things are so bad for ranchers that the CEO of Smithfield Foods is projecting that meat prices will rise by “significant double digits” in the months ahead.

Man Finds ‘God’ on his Independence Day

The discovery of the Higgs boson is finally here.

Early in the morning on July 4, America’s Independence Day, physicists with the Large Hadron Collider at CERN announced they have found a new particle that some have called the ‘God Particle’ at the heart of the universe.

CERN director-general Rolf-Dieter Heuer said, “It’s a historic milestone today. I think we can all be proud, all be happy.”  Peter Clarke, Professor of Physics at the University of Edinburgh, says “This is like discovering the heart; without it the entire model of the human body does not work. That is the significance of this particle.”

Fabiola Gianotti of the Atlas experiment at CERN echoed the conclusions of her colleagues: “We all have to be proud of these results. They open a door to a very bright future,” she concluded at the end of her presentation.

March to Jerusalem is to “Raise Global Consciousness” says Organisers

There is to be a massive movement of people on March 30th this year to surround Jerusalem (or as close as they can come) to “demand freedom for Palestine and its capital Jerusalem.”   It is timed to coincide with ‘Palestine Land Day’.

2012: Year of Foolish Predictions

2012 with its End-of-the-World prophecies based on the Mayan Calendar looks set to be the “Year of Predictions” in the Church as well.

Excitement is growing about the Coming of the Lord. This is no surprise but unfortunately has led to a rash of foolish date-setting that only heaps ridicule on Christians in general.

It also teaches the world not to listen when Christians speak about the Endtimes. We have “cried wolf” once too often.

Economic Storm Ahead?

As you probably know, this post was here as a tentative one, based on a striking dream I had on 22nd November. I’m going to amend this post with some further events and thoughts.

I didn’t know then and I still don’t know for certain if it was anything more than my own mind, but as I said originally, I’m going to go out on a limb. I’d rather speak up and perhaps make a fool of myself, than hold back.

I know that God can and has in the bible used dreams to speak to his people, but I also know this is unreliable and open to misinterpretation. It can also be false, a demonic deception. Therefore, I say from the start that I’m NOT making a prediction or even saying this is definitely from God. (Nor is this to do with Elenin, Nibiru, the three days of darkness or anything remotely similar!)

First, the dream, then my comments:

I dreamt there was a piece of paper pinned up on the wall on which a long line of people were contributing. I was watching myself, rather than doing this first-person, but I watched as it became my turn.

I’d already got something on my heart to write/say but was holding back and being polite and quiet, in deference to everyone else – because they were calm and matter-of-fact.

Nonetheless, just as I began to write, the Spirit of the Lord brought this deep and troubled concern to the surface and I could no longer hold back. In fact, I was agitated and I shouted (and woke myself up in the process!).

My Contribution

What I wrote was agitated too, very strong! As I shouted Monday! Tuesday! Wednesday! Thursday! (and more?) I drew a black sun for each day, showing the darkness would continue this long. Then underneath them I drew a huge storm, a storm like nobody had ever seen, with the waves roaring – the waves were also clouds, and floods. It was an overall impression of a tremendous storm to come.

Just as I awoke, I was praying. I said “Lord, remove it now; because the devil is taking advantage of your word.”

So – there it is. Very strange you will agree. If anybody else can give a witness to this, please get in touch with me or comment below. If not – let it just die on the page and be forgotten. Amen.

ADDED on WEDNESDAY 23rd November.

I felt impelled to look at the calendar this morning to see if the date of the dream was significant – I then noticed that this Friday is “Black Friday“. Not being American I needed to Google that term and it’s the day after Thanksgiving when the congestion on the roads is so bad because of all the Christmas shoppers…Also it’s (they hope) the day the bank balance turns black, because of the Christmas sales. BUT every other day of the week, the ones I shouted out, are commemorated differently! They are not about the jolly careless spending spree, but economic disaster!

•  “Black Monday” went down in history as the 1987 stock market crash.
•  “Black Tuesday” was the Wall Street Crash of 1929 that launched the Great Depression.
• “Black Tuesday” was also the Panic of 1873 when the U.S. bank Jay Cooke & Company declared bankruptcy, triggering a series of bank failures.
•  “Black Wednesday”  refers to the events of 16 September 1992 when the British Conservative government was forced to withdraw the pound sterling from the European Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM) after they were unable to keep it above its agreed lower limit. In 1997 the UK  Treasury estimated the cost of Black Wednesday at £3.4 billion”  (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_wednesday).
•  “Black Thursday” commemorates the actual START of the Wall Street crash

So Black Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday ALL refer to catastrophic bank losses and stock market crashes! And the only day left OUT of the dream sequence was FRIDAY, which by contrast commemorates being “in the black” because of the high level of spending by shoppers that day!

Given that I didn’t really know all this til today, I begin to suspect the Lord is calling our attention to the contrast between the casual over-spending of this Black Friday, and the very real possibility of “Black Rest-of-The-Week” with a “perfect storm” to come,  ie, the worst economic disaster this world has ever known. Does this resonate with anyone?

Added 9th December

I’m writing as two events take place, the crucial Euro Summit that is supposedly going to “save the Euro” at the expense of the economies of every contributing nation!

There is much I could say about it, but the bottom line is, we in the UK are being stitched up and face an even more grave situation than the rest of Europe – and that itself is extremely serious! The News Channel headed its report with the word “Global Shaking”! It reminded me of what I saw and felt in my dream.

And interestingly enough there was a MAJOR storm at the same time across all of Northern Britain, with winds speeds as high as 160 mph and a lot of damage and disruption. (Not that I’m saying it was the one in my dream, but it’s a curious fact all the same.)

All in all, I feel more sure that I was sensing the coming crisis in the Eurozone countries. Even though this subject is difficult to grasp, and seems almost irrelevant, in fact it will affect every man woman and child in Europe and probably the rest of the world for many years to come.

We stand on the brink of a precipice and have no reliable earthly leadership to lead us away from it. We put our trust in God our Father, as ever.

Worried About Comet Elenin?

I read and see so much about PlanetX, Elenin, a dwarf star and great catastrophe in 2011/2012 that I felt the time was right to post a blog entry offering an alternative to the hype.

Now, in doing so, it looks like I’ve taken a position on this issue, whereas I like to be a fairly neutral observer, neither slavishly following the offical government viewpoint on any event, nor throwing my hat into the ring of conspiracy theories. I happen to believe there’s truth on BOTH sides (not just of this issue but other hot topics like 9/11, biological warfare and so on).

For instance, the following piece, written by a sceptic, was – like some others denouncing the Elenin scare – removed from the blog after a legal dispute. I ask myself, why? Of all the blog entries on the Net, why would this cause so much trouble that it needed to be removed? I would have thought the much more alarmist pro-Elenin posts were more likely to be removed? However, be that as it may – I present this just as it stands and let you follow the links and make your own mind up.

Astronomer and blogger Ian Musgrave from South Australia has been active in debunking the misinformation and nonsense that is being disseminated about Comet Elenin. He has written several wonderful posts featuring the actual realities of this long-period lump of dirty ice that has, for some reason, attracted the attention of doomsdayers, 2012ers, and end-of-the-world scaremongers.

Earlier this week, Ian’s Elenin posts on his Astroblog were taken down by the web host, as someone filed a claim for alleged violation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). “Given that there is no copyrighted material on these pages, with either material generated entirely by me or links to and citation of publicly available material, I believe this was just a frivolous attack on people countering Elenin nonsense” Ian said.

Astroblog was not the only site that was targeted, and thankfully, Ian’s web host agreed that the claim was without merit, and the posts are back online. In the interim, however, Universe Today offered to publish Ian’s excellent “Comet Elenin, a FAQ for the Worried” post, and even though the original is now available again, Ian and I decided to still post this on UT so that more people with questions about Comet Elenin would have the chance to have their worries allayed. Have your questions answered below.

Will Comet Elenin Hit Earth?

No, its closest approach is 0.23 AU on Oct 16, 2011, where 1 AU is the distance from the Earth to the Sun. To put this in perspective, this is only a little closer than the closest approach of Venus to Earth, and roughly 100 times the distance from the Earth to the Moon. This distance is from the latest MPEC ephemeris which is based on over 100 observations from multiple observatories that have been continuously tracking the comet, so it won’t change appreciably.

Surely if Elenin Was Going to Hit the Earth NASA/the Government Would Hush it Up?

Which government? The Australian Government, the UK Government? The Italian Government? The South African Government? Amateur astronomers world wide are following this comet and continually talking to each other. The have the programs to work out where the comet is going. If the comet was coming anywhere near us, the amateur community would be first to know, and there is no keeping them quite. Consider how wide spread the information is about Apophis, which is a real, if extremely marginal, hazard.

Will it Cause Earthquakes, Abnormally High Tides or Other Disasters

No, Elenin is a mere 3-5 kilometres across and has less than a billionth of the tidal force of the Moon at closest approach (as well as a negligible magnetic field). If the Moon can’t cause the poles to tip, cause massive tidal floods or earthquakes, Comet 2010 X1 Elenin won’t. We’ve been closer to other comets before with no ill effect.

But What About Mensur Omerbashich’s Paper that Says Elenin is Causing Earthquakes?

It shows nothing of the sort, earthquakes are no more common during comet alignments than at any other time.

But it’s bigger than Jupiter!

No, that’s the coma , the thin haze of gas and dust that surrounds the comet nucleus. The nucleus of C/2010 X1 Elenin is roughly 3-4 Km in diameter and Elenin has a coma around 50,000 km wide at the time of writing (which is a third of the diameter of Jupiter). The average density of the coma is about the same as the density of the atmosphere on the Moon. A coma is a feature of all comets that approach the Sun closely, for example comet 81P Wild (nucleus 4 Km diameter) had a coma of 50,000 Km and 103P Hartley had a coma of 150,000 Km. The Great Comet of 1811 had a nucleus of around 30km in diameter and had a coma nearly as big as the Sun. Comet Halley is 6×15 km and had a coma 100,000 km wide when it last approached Earth. We survived them all (and 103P Hartley came nearly twice as close as Elenin will), and we will survive Elenin without incident.

But I Can See a Picture of it in WikiSky, it’s HUGE!

That is the carbon star CW Leonis.

Is Elenin a Moon of a Brown Dwarf Star? No.

But Brown Dwarf Stars are so Cold, you Can’t See Them.

No, coldest detected so far is ~370K (about the temperature of a hot cup of tea), the the warmest are around 2200 K, and most range between 500-1000 K. They may not produce much visible light, but they reflect light. Jupiter has a composition similar to those of Brown Dwarf stars. Jupiter’s cloud tops are a chilly 128 K and it reflects light just fine. Any Brown Dwarf in the inner solar system would be painfully obvious.

Will Going Through the Comets Tail Affect Us?

No, should the rather small tail of Elenin actually pass over us, it’s doing a pretty good imitation of a vacuum (about 100 atoms per cm3). We have been through bigger and denser comet tails before with no effect whatsoever (especially the Great Comet of 1861).

Why isn’t Comet Elenin in the News?

For the same reason that the other 16 comets discovered in 2010 didn’t get in the news, or the 5 comets discovered in 2011. They are all dim. The News is only interested in comets that are spectacular, readily visible to the unaided eye or are being visited by spacecraft. Comet 2009 P1 will be as bright, if not brighter than C/2010 X1 Elenin, but that’s not in the news either. Amateur and professional astronomers are watching comet Elenin and others avidly, but the news channels don’t care about our obsessions with faint fuzzies.

Why Can’t I Find Information of Elenin at the NASA Website?

Because NASA is not the arbiter of all things astronomical. You won’t find information on C/2009 P1, C/2011 C1 or any of the faint comets discovered during 2010 and 2011. NASA does have information of comets that its spacecraft have visited, or are interesting in some other way, but it’s not an exhaustive comet site like Cometography or Aerith.

(editor’s note, NASA and JPL’s Near Earth Object Office did publish an article about Comet Elenin in May, 2011, which can be found at this link, confirming it will safely fly past Earth.)

I Saw Comet Elenin Near the Sun in August 2010/Now

In August 2010 only really powerful telescopes could see Elenin. You saw Venus. If you are seeing something bright near the Sun in the morning sky now, it’s Venus.

For freeware standalone programs there is Cartes du Ciel and Stellarium (my favourite).  For Web based solutions Skyview Cafe, Sky-Map and GoogleEarth (KMZ file here) all work.

What is God saying to us in recent events?

On 29th September 2008, a day which “just happened” to coincide with Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, the American stock markets plunged by 7 percent, or 777 points. (See the chart below, courtesy of Bigcharts.com).

A financial analyst explains what happened that day: “The House of Representatives rejected the governments $700 billion bailout plan that the Bush administration had renamed as the $700 billion rescue plan in an attempt to garner more votes. The actual vote of 228 NO against 205 YES shocked the proponents of the bill and sent the Stock markets into a FREE FALL which … sent the Dow Jones Industrial Averages into its WORST DAILY POINTS DECLINE of 777 points or 7%, beating the 721 point plunge on Sept 12th following the Sept 11th terrorist attack.”

This date was also significant to me, since I had already been observing a sequence of events unfolding, hidden from the view of almost everyone or so it seemed. Could we grasp that behind this earthly activity was the hand of God, and that He had actually foreknown and foretold these events? To those “with ears to hear” there were alarm bells ringing.

Before going on to speak of that, I will bring it bang up todate with yesterday’s news. As you see from the screen shot of a financial website below, significant numbers are again showing up in the form of a 5.55 drop in Dow Jones and a 6.66 drop in Standard & Poor (S&P) index at close of business last night.

In addition, the lowest ebb of the Stock Market following the 2008 crash was a 666 point low in 2009.  “On March 6th the S&P traded as low as 666. This was a new 12 year low and since then it has rallied higher by over 170 points, trading as high as 845.”

These numbers are NOT COINCIDENCE!

God is trying to get our attention I believe, and this strange number sequence started further back, in 1994 to be exact.

Following a long build-up taking decades of time in the churches of the world, the spirit of error finally found an open door in Toronto to enter the world fully-formed, ready to prepare the way for the final delusion. When that spirit found willing minds and bodies to possess, it loosed on the world what has become known as the “Toronto Blessing”, an impartation so strong that it has rendered men dumb, lame and blind and turned rational people into howling animals and screaming banshees.

This began at the Jewish New Year 1993 with events at the then little-known Toronto Airport pentecostal fellowship. By early 1994 a spirit arrived that turned the church upside down.

It was one of those watershed moments from which there is no turning back.

Below is a potted history extracted from a manuscript by Margaret M. Poloma from the University of Akron:

• Pre 1987 – Claudio Friedzon, an Assemblies of God pastor in Argentina, was in the centre of [false] revival sweeping through parts of Latin America.
• 1987 – Howard-Browne brought his “laughing revival” to the United States from South Africa and gives an “impartation of spiritual anointing” to Claudio Friedzon and many other well-known charismatic ministers including Kenneth Copeland, Karl Strader, Bud Williams, Oral Roberts, Charles and Frances Hunter, and Kenneth Hagin.
• 1993 – November, Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship’s senior pastor John Arnott travelled to Argentina for a conference where he was prayed for by Claudio Friedzon and received an ‘anointing’. This resulted in a brief experience of some manifestations back at Toronto.
• 1994 – January, Randy Clark (who received his “impartation” from Rodney Howard-Browne at Rhema Bible Church in Tulsa) spoke at the Toronto church and what resulted is now known as the ‘Toronto Blessing’ or ‘Father’s Blessing’.

At the time I suspected there was more meaning in this event than just another outbreak of false revival. As I studied and researched this intensely, seeing its forbears throughout history, I saw it as a major turning point in the steps this world was taking towards the End. It was the opening of a door and there would doubtless be other significant events to follow.

Sure enough, seven years later, in September 2001 the world had another watershed moment of history when decades of unrest, hatred and terrorism erupted in the 911 Twin Towers disaster.

Not until seven years later, in Sept/Oct 2008, was I totally sure that I was seeing something prophetic. But then the third event in the sequence occurred. In 2008 there was another watershed moment that changed the course of this world – a global financial crash and a recession from which we will never recover despite all the rhetoric they throw at us.

As I said at the beginning, the numbers involved were not coincidental because they were like flags waving, to alert anyone with spiritual understanding to listen and consider! This was not just a random event, but a SEQUENCE  that we had already been warned of:

• First, a global delusion that increasingly clouds biblical truth and ensnares millions to a dominionist agenda.  And seven years later:
• Second, a terrorist act releasing a spirit of violence that grips the world’s populations like never before. And seven years later:
• Third, an economic crash that increasingly leaves poverty and want in its wake.

Where have we seen this sequence of events before? Of course the answer is in the Book of Revelation. As Jesus opens each successive seal on the scroll that eventually reveals the inheritance of Israel, he looses from Heaven a spirit-power that is sent to make preparation for judgement.

That being the case, we need to look at the NEXT seven-yearly event (if God does not shorten the time) which is the loosing of the spirit of death and hades. 2015.

By a timing of events that is, again, not a coincidence, the next seven-year event in the sequence will be marked by a set of four back-to-back eclipses (called a “tetrad”) happening exactly on the Jewish Feast Days! (The only other times this happened in the last century were at the birth of the nation of Israel and her War of Independence in 1948 and the Six Day war of 1967).

In 2014 and 2015 there will be 4 blood moon total lunar eclipses all falling on feast days. Also note that in 2015 there are 2 lunar and 2 solar eclipses ALL on significant days.

3. Passover, April 4, 2015
4. Tabernacles, September 28, 2015

There are also FIVE solar eclipses from 2008 to 2015 that align on significant dates.

1. Tamuz 29/Av 1: August 2, 2008 August 1, 2008 Total eclipse
2. Tamuz 29/Av 1: July 21-22, 2009 July 22, 2009 Total eclipse
3. Tamuz 29/Av 1: July 11-12, 2010 July 11, 2010 Total eclipse
4. Adar 29/Nisan 1 (Beginning of the religious calendar): March 20-21, 2015 Total eclipse
5. Rosh Hashanah: September 14, 2015; September 13, 2015 Partial eclipse

Putting two and two together, it seems that this period of time is highlighted in God’s calendar in more than one way. Since the other two tetrads had to do with an attack on Israel, will Israel again be plunged into a bloody war?

And  the fourth seal of Revelation finalises the four-horsemen part of that sequence. Thereafter we are looking at a short-lived but violent persecution followed by the appearance of the Lord in the Heavens and the Resurrection/Rapture!

All of these things need more than a blog entry to fully explore, but it’s about time I nailed my colours to the mast more firmly. I do not believe that what we are witnessing in society, in the skies, and in the earth is random or meaningless.

Let’s consider these things soberly and with an open mind!

Tell South Dakota to Prepare!

In the spirit of the age, (which is endless speculation about the signs of the times), I decided to make this map and tell you about the data within it. As you know, I have a habit of putting my tongue firmly in my cheek over these things.

Is there a serious point to be made – I don’t really know. The only really SERIOUS worry is that Christians fall into the trap that Jesus warned of. It was the very first warning he made when talking about the endtimes, that is, “Take heed that you are not deceived”.

Matt 24:4-14 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is NOT YET. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and THEN the end will come.

False prophets will abound (like Harold Camping) who will even seduce the elect, and every kitchen table prediction will take on deep meaning when people start to panic about the state of the world, and all the signs we daily see. The more that “lawlessness abounds” the more troubled people will be, and the more inclined to grasp at straws.

Yes, there ARE signs! But as far as I’m concerned all of them go on the back burner until I know something definite from God, and it lines up with scripture. For instance, the end cannot come until certain things happen, such as the greatest apostasy ever known, when “the love of many grows cold”.

2 Thess 2:2-4 “Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first”

So then – curious earthquake facts:  three recent large earthquakes have struck around the “ring of fire” marking three points on a sort of rectangle on the map. Completing that rectangle with a fourth earthquake would point towards the centre of the United States.

As you see from the map (which is no more than a bit of fun with data really) if you calculate the coordinates then you end up with the 4th point being in South Dakota. The nearest town is Lemmon (so perhaps this data is a bit of a lemon as the Brits would say.)

Here’s another fact, if you count the days between the earthquakes so far it’s 188 days between the one in Chile and the one in Christchurch; and its 188 days between Christchurch and Japan – curious, eh?

So, now we can tell the good folks of South Dakota to expect another huge earthquake 188 days from the one in Japan, which is 15th September. Hmmm. There’s NEVER been an earthquake there so that makes it all the more certain I think. (joking.)

Finally let’s look at the names of the earthquake areas for another curiousity.

The first one in Chile was at Chillan (“where the sun sits”) and Concepcion both of which suggest a beginning; the second earthquake was at Christchurch, specifically a place called Charing Cross – which suggests a religious connection, Christ’s Church and “broken cross” or “bent cross” from ‘Cerring’, an Anglo-Saxon word meaning bend.

The third earthquake was near Sendai which has the meaning in Japanese of “eternity”, specifically a “thousand generations”.

The distance between each event was roughly five and a half to six thousand miles. So far then, in symbolic terms, we have had from the Beginning to Christ’s Church and from Christ’s Church to Eternity, six thousand years.

I’m tempted to say the next earthquake will be in Los Angeles (the angels) because that is what comes after eternity. It’s a distance from Sendai Japan of about 5331 miles.

Or maybe nothing will happen at all. More likely.

I will now add one more factoid to the mix. The next 188 days takes us up to Rosh Hashanah, the start of the next Jewish year. It also takes us to the full moon and the Autumn Equinox.

However, a significant and prophetic event (if it actually happens) is on 20th Sept when the Palestinians’ bid to join the UN as a sovereign nation, capital city East Jerusalem, is voted in the UN.

Everything these days is invested with great meaning. I’m not disbelieving nor disrespectful of signs if they are genuine, but I advise great caution until the truth is known.

Four Major Planets Meet Today!

Four Planets Will Be Visible In Close Cluster This Week

You don’t have to be an astronomer to enjoy a rare sight like this.You just have to be able to get out of bed.

A rare sight of four planets “clustering” together in the early morning sky will occur this week, according to CNN.  Mars, Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury will all be visible low in the eastern sky, just before dawn on May 9-12.

These planets are the brightest things in the sky after the moon, and this proximity is rare indeed.

While in reality they’re millions of miles apart, on May 10 and 11 Venus and Jupiter will seem to come within inches of each other.  Mars will appear a bit further off, lower left of the other three. The best view of the formation, which will be visible to the naked eye, should be in the southern states.  However, binoculars and telescopes always help, as increasing light makes the formation harder to see as dawn approaches.
